We’re a small team who’ve always been in love with the effortless style of the ’50s and the vintage rockabilly style vibe. As soon as the warm weather hit ☀️🌸, we kept running into the same problem: finding the perfect shoes to go with our retro looks was nearly impossible. Sure, there were plenty of sandals out there… but nothing that truly matched the feminine, timeless rockabilly-inspired style we adored — and nothing that was actually comfortable for all-day wear.

We began creating our own handmade retro-inspired espadrille sandals — made with love 💗 and crafted from organic, eco-conscious materials. We didn’t just want shoes that were beautiful — we wanted ones that felt amazing on your feet too.

That’s how our Etsy shop, Ibizencas, was born! We spent so many wonderful years selling there and connecting with so many of you. Our dear Peggys were an instant hit! After purchases, customers started leaving reviews and sending us messages with their thoughts 💌 — telling us how comfortable, stylish, and feminine the Peggys are, and how hard it was to find that style in their local stores.

After growing and learning so much, we realized something exciting: we wanted to stand on our own two feet and focus entirely on our beloved Peggys.

So we made the leap — we decided it was time to spread our wings 🕊️ and fly off Etsy’s nest, pouring all our love, energy, and creativity into building our own space where Peggy Shoes could truly shine. ✨🏡
